Fairmont Ramla, Fairmont Riyadh and Almosafer join the inaugural WTM Spotlight Riyadh as strategic partners, strengthening a new international platform for tourism, hospitality and business in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving tourism landscape is preparing to welcome a new international industry platform. From 8–10 September 2026, the inaugural WTM Spotlight Riyadh will take place at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC), bringing together Saudi and international representatives from across the travel and tourism sector.
Ahead of its debut, WTM Spotlight Riyadh has announced two significant strategic partnerships. Fairmont Ramla and Fairmont Riyadh have been appointed the event’s Official Hotel Partners, while Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co. will serve as its Official Journey Partner.

The partnerships reflect the broader transformation taking place within Saudi Arabia’s tourism and hospitality sectors under Vision 2030. Designed as a focused B2B2C platform, WTM Spotlight Riyadh aims to connect international travel businesses with Saudi stakeholders while creating opportunities for business development, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
For the hospitality sector, the event also offers an opportunity to present a changing image of Riyadh to an international audience — one in which contemporary development exists alongside the Kingdom’s culture, heritage and traditions.

For Amine Bouhalba, General Manager of Fairmont Ramla, the arrival of WTM Spotlight Riyadh comes at a pivotal moment for the Saudi capital. He points to Riyadh’s growing importance as a destination for business, leisure and international tourism, as well as the opportunities the event creates for collaboration, investment and sustainable tourism development.
Fairmont Ramla and Fairmont Riyadh, as Official Hotel Partners, will welcome international buyers, exhibitors, speakers and delegates attending the inaugural event.
Muhieddine Zok, General Manager of Fairmont Riyadh, describes Riyadh as offering visitors “a distinctive combination of heritage, culture and a modern city experience” — a perspective that captures one of the central narratives emerging around the Saudi capital today.
Connecting Saudi Arabia with the world
The travel dimension of WTM Spotlight Riyadh will be supported by Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co., whose destination management expertise and extensive local network will support hosted buyers, exhibitors and international delegates attending the event.

For Muzzammil Ahussain, CEO of Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co., the launch comes at an important moment for Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector, opening further opportunities to connect international travel businesses with one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism markets.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh has been conceived around a clear idea: connecting the world to Saudi Arabia — and Saudi Arabia to the world.
Its inaugural edition is expected to welcome more than 6,500 regional and international visitors and 150 international hosted buyers. Destinations, hospitality providers, airlines, travel technology companies, attractions and experience providers will meet Saudi buyers, international hosted buyers and consumers.
The conference programme will explore some of the forces shaping the future of tourism, including hospitality and experiences, transport and mobility, technology and innovation, alongside Saudi Arabia’s wider tourism transformation under Vision 2030.
For Riyadh, the arrival of WTM Spotlight represents another step in its emergence as an international meeting point for tourism, hospitality, investment and ideas. For Saudi Arabia, it provides another platform through which the Kingdom can present its evolving destinations, cultural identity and ambitions to a global audience.
