MARGARETA SJÖDIN 50 YEARS AS AN ARTIST

Margareta Sjödin was active in theatre, TV, and film for a number of years, some of the films she appeared in were inspired by the new French wave. She has also lent her voice in the Swedish versions of some classic Disney films, the most famous being the wise cat mother Duchess in Aristocats. Margareta Sjödin then moved with her family to California in the USA.

In recent decades, Margareta has devoted all his time to expressing himself in painting and sculpture. She has had exhibitions worldwide, including in Argentina, Mexico, the USA, and China. Margareta Sjödin has been awarded prizes such as the Eliason Award as an ambassador for Sweden and Swedish culture in the USA. She was appointed early on as an ambassador and mediator of Chinese art by Shanghai University. Today, Margareta Sjödin is once again living in Sweden, where she continues to practice her art.

On the 5th of May, there was a 50-year Jubileum vernissage of Marhgareta Sjodin Art in So Foto Gallery at Skånegatan 81, 116 35 Stockholm, and lasted until 27 th of May.  A number of invited art lovers and happy partiers were celebrating her Golden Anniversary.

I mars 2021 har vi öppnat ett foto- och konstgalleri på Skånegatan 81, vid Nytorget i Södermalm. Under nästan ett år har vi haft ett antal utställningar i galleriet som har blivit mycket uppskattade. Många konstälskare och några konstföreningar har funnit verk till sina samlingar vilket värmer oss extra mycket. So Foto Galleri är ett resultat av en långt förhållande till fotografi och konst som vi, Johan & Justina Rosengren, älskar intensivt.
