A Celebration of Beauty, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Heart of Stockholm

On 19 October 2026, Stockholm became a vibrant meeting point for beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, designers, innovators, artists, influencers and international media as Stockholm Beauty Week celebrated its 18th edition at the historic Hamburger Börs. Founded and organised by Maria Forssén, the event brought together the diverse dimensions of the contemporary beauty industry, creating a dynamic platform where skincare, cosmetics, fashion, wellness, advanced technology and sustainable innovation converged.
Welcoming approximately 2,500 visitors and 70 exhibitors, this year’s edition unfolded across two distinctive venues in the heart of Stockholm. At Hamburger Börs, the exhibition extended over two floors, offering visitors an engaging programme of beauty and wellness experiences, professional treatments, styling demonstrations, fashion shows and live artistic performances. Meanwhile, Hotel Kungsträdgården provided an elegant setting for an exclusive press breakfast organised in collaboration with Bausch & Lomb, followed by VIP networking opportunities and industry seminars.
The programme continued with dedicated sessions for beauty professionals and salon owners, culminating in a VIP gathering that encouraged dialogue, collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Beyond showcasing products and emerging trends, Stockholm Beauty Week demonstrated the importance of personal connections, professional knowledge and creative entrepreneurship in shaping the future of the beauty industry.
As an Official Media Partner, DESIGNER Magazine Global, founded and led by Editor-in-Chief Halina Rosa, supported the event’s international visibility, highlighting its contribution to the evolving relationship between beauty, design, innovation and entrepreneurship.

More Than a Beauty Exhibition
Since its establishment in 2014, Stockholm Beauty Week has grown into a distinctive platform that brings together beauty professionals, consumers, entrepreneurs and the wider creative community. Over the years, the event has evolved alongside an industry that continues to redefine the meaning of beauty, embracing new perspectives, technologies and approaches to personal well-being.
The October 2026 edition reflected this transformation, demonstrating that beauty today extends far beyond appearance and traditional cosmetics. It is increasingly connected to health and well-being, scientific research, technological advancement, sustainability and individual expression. This broader understanding of beauty was reflected throughout the event, where established brands, emerging businesses and creative professionals came together to share ideas, present innovations and explore new opportunities.
The historic Hamburger Börs, one of Stockholm’s most recognisable entertainment venues, provided an elegant and atmospheric setting for the main exhibition. Just a short distance away, Hotel Kungsträdgården hosted additional seminars, professional meetings and exclusive VIP activities. Together, the two venues offered a welcoming environment where business and education met creativity, inspiration and meaningful personal connections.
More than an exhibition, Stockholm Beauty Week 2026 illustrated how the modern beauty industry is becoming an increasingly interdisciplinary space, one in which innovation, entrepreneurship and human experience play an equally important role in shaping its future.
From the Press Breakfast to the Evening Awards
The day began at 9:00 a.m. with a press breakfast at Hotel Kungsträdgården, organised in collaboration with Bausch + Lomb.

The day began with an exclusive gathering for journalists and industry representatives, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new connections and discover some of the innovations shaping the beauty sector. At 10:00 a.m., Hamburger Börs opened its doors to visitors, welcoming them into a lively exhibition environment where participating brands and exhibitors introduced their products, expertise and creative visions.
Throughout the day, visitors explored a diverse programme of product presentations, professional discussions, educational sessions and live demonstrations. Networking remained an essential part of the experience, encouraging conversations between established industry leaders, emerging entrepreneurs and beauty enthusiasts. Among the topics attracting particular interest were the evolving needs of beauty businesses and the growing influence of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, on the industry’s future.
As the afternoon gave way to evening, the atmosphere shifted from professional exchange to artistic expression and celebration. The Stockholm Beauty Week Award 2026 ceremony recognised achievements across a range of beauty product categories, celebrating innovation, quality and excellence within the industry. A fashion presentation by Maruschka de Margo, scheduled for 6:00 p.m., brought an additional creative dimension to the programme, highlighting the natural connection between beauty, fashion and artistic identity.
Together, the exhibitions, educational activities, fashion presentations and awards captured the distinctive character of Stockholm Beauty Week. The event offered more than an opportunity to discover new products and trends; it created a space where professional expertise, entrepreneurship and creativity could meet, reflecting the increasingly diverse and interconnected nature of the modern beauty industry.

The Future of Beauty: Science, Technology and Longevity
One of the defining themes of Stockholm Beauty Week 2026 was the growing relationship between beauty, scientific research and technological development.
The exhibition presented brands and concepts responding to contemporary consumer interest in advanced skincare, longevity, personalised treatments and digital experiences.
Among the participating brands, VITALITY BioSkin highlighted skincare approaches focused on mature skin, hydration and skin-barrier support.
SISÓNE Beauty presented a beauty philosophy inspired by ballet aesthetics and contemporary longevity trends.
MASQ+ showcased facial masks and skincare concepts, including products incorporating ingredients marketed as exosome-based technologies.
Meanwhile, Astaxin drew attention to skincare formulations associated with astaxanthin.
These developments illustrate how scientific language and emerging ingredients are increasingly influencing beauty marketing, although individual product claims should be distinguished from independently established clinical evidence. Technology also played an important role.
AIscent Co. explored the potential of artificial intelligence for beauty businesses, while TREATD introduced its concept for digitally documenting treatments and managing personal beauty histories.
Smart Chip presented an innovative approach to digital communication through nail-integrated technology.
Together, these initiatives demonstrated that the future of beauty may be shaped as much by data, digital services and customer experience as by cosmetic formulations.
Fashion, Art and the Creative Expression of Beauty
Beauty and fashion have always been closely connected, influencing one another through changing trends, cultural movements and artistic expression. Today, however, the boundaries between these creative disciplines are becoming increasingly fluid, with makeup, hairstyling, clothing and visual storytelling coming together to shape a more individual and expressive understanding of style.
Stockholm Beauty Week 2026 reflected this creative dialogue, offering a platform for beauty professionals, designers, and artists to explore the relationship between appearance, identity, and imagination.
One of the evening’s creative highlights was the fashion presentation by Maruschka de Margo, which added a distinctive artistic dimension to the programme. Bringing fashion into the wider conversation about contemporary beauty, the presentation illustrated how clothing, styling and aesthetic vision can work together to create a cohesive visual identity.

Brands including MILI Cosmetics, Kura Hair and Olière Paris contributed to the wider presentation of cosmetics, haircare and beauty innovation. For DESIGNER Magazine Global, this intersection of disciplines is particularly significant.
Design is not simply about creating an attractive product. It encompasses the entire experience surrounding that product — its visual identity, presentation, cultural meaning, communication and emotional connection with the audience. Stockholm Beauty Week offered a valuable reminder that beauty is also a form of creative storytelling.
Live Music and Entertainment at Stockholm Beauty Week 2026
Music and live entertainment added a vibrant atmosphere to Stockholm Beauty Week 2026 at Hamburger Börs.
The programme featured Anna Joice, performing alongside the talented twin duo Ylva & Linda Twinflame. DJ Carl Merliyn’s performances brought additional energy to the celebration, creating a lively fusion of music, fashion, beauty and artistic expression.
Together, these performances made Stockholm Beauty Week not only a showcase of beauty and innovation, but also a celebration of creativity and entertainment.

Maria Forssén: The Vision Behind Stockholm Beauty Week

Behind the development of Stockholm Beauty Week stands entrepreneur and founder Maria Forssén, whose vision has helped establish the event as a recurring meeting place for Sweden’s beauty community.
Founded in 2014 through Heart of Stockholm AB, Stockholm Beauty Week has grown into a platform where emerging businesses can gain visibility, established brands can strengthen their relationships and professionals can exchange knowledge. One of the event’s most valuable characteristics is its accessibility to different types of businesses.
Independent entrepreneurs and smaller creative brands are able to participate alongside more established companies, creating opportunities for collaboration and development. Building such a platform requires more than organisational expertise. It demands an understanding of people, relationships, emerging trends and the importance of bringing different communities together.
Through Stockholm Beauty Week, Maria Forssén continues to contribute to the visibility and development of Sweden’s beauty and wellness sector.

Beyond Beauty – The Value of Human Connection
Despite the growing importance of technology, one of the most valuable aspects of Stockholm Beauty Week remained the opportunity for people to meet in person. Conversations between exhibitors and visitors, professional exchanges during seminars and informal discussions throughout the day created opportunities for relationships that extend beyond the event itself.
The 18th edition presented an industry balancing scientific development with creativity, commercial ambition with professional knowledge, and digital innovation with personal experience. Stockholm Beauty Week 2026 was therefore more than a presentation of products and trends. It offered a snapshot of a changing industry, one increasingly shaped by collaboration between different fields of expertise. And in a world where so many experiences are moving into digital spaces, the importance of genuine encounters, personal conversations and shared ideas remains undeniable.
