Thanks to the social activity of the Czepczyński Foundation, in cooperation with the Madame Chromatique Foundation, the first project in Głowno will soon be launched. During the winter holidays in 2024, a project called Art Parasol is planned, which aims to educate, socialize, and develop children and young people through art.
Agata Basior, an artist associated with art who is characterized by the mission of community and bringing help to those who need it the most and are at risk of exclusion, talked about it. – It takes a lot of empathy and sensitivity to see how bad things are happening around us socially and how they affect the young generation. Dopamine motivated by the Internet draws you into a virtual, artificial, and addictive world from which it is difficult to relate to real reality. Young people controlled in this way have huge problems today and lose their bearings, leading to traumatic situations that are difficult to face. This causes the youth to physically harm themselves. But it is possible to find a solution to these problems through artistic activities.
The aim and assumption of the Art Parasol project is to support children and young people through art classes with elements of economic education and support for their psychological development. It is especially dedicated to those participants who have had a difficult start in life, both due to family and social problems, as well as due to the use of social media.
Our mission will be to support young people with emotional and social problems, to counteract depression and its causes, and to have fun through art by creating various types of artistic works with the role of art therapy.
– The project is dedicated to children and youth without age limits. The youngest are welcome with their parents and carers. I would like to ask you for empathy and cooperation so that the adult world no longer spoils the sensitivity and talents of children and young people – Agata Basior summed up, as the main coordinator of the project.
The Madame Chromatique Foundation has attracted excellent and active partners in the education sector to work with. One of them is the Czepczyński Foundation, which supports projects in actual and current areas such as empathy and economy.
