On November 23rd, 2025, the royal halls of the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm hosted an evening of elegance, art, and heartfelt generosity — the Charity Gala celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the World Childhood Foundation, founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. The event, organized by the International Philanthropic Society (IPS) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine, gathered distinguished guests from the worlds of culture, business, diplomacy, and art.
The gala was not only a symbol of prestige and sophistication but, above all, a celebration of compassion and unity — dedicated to supporting children and youth in need around the world.
The evening’s central highlight was the charity auction, whose proceeds will support the World Childhood Foundation’s ongoing projects. The auction was masterfully conducted by the renowned art critic and auctioneer Peder Lamm, whose charm and passion created an atmosphere of generosity and excitement among the guests.

Among the 20 exceptional auction pieces were works of art, jewelry, and haute couture creations. A standout of the evening was a dress by Sara Poul Couture, famously worn by the celebrated Swedish singer Carola on several occasions.
Luxury donations also included VIP hospitality packages from Qatar Airways, champagne from Hatt et Söner Champagne House, and fine crystal glassware from Riedel – The Wine Glass Company. Other generous contributors included Ebba Brahe Jewellery, Select Haute Couture Horizons, Nattiluxe, Artportable, Galleri Duerr, GKM Gallery, Skajs Antikhandel, Svenskt Tenn, Vesnaw, Walléns Design Jewellery, Sally Herriot Art, Catrine Nässmark, Ulrika Melin Art, and Catharina Elsner. The fashion segment also featured designs by Maruschka de Margot Fashion House and the exquisite “Desert Rose” kimono by Halina Rosa Design — made of pure linen and hand-painted with roses, a signature motif of designer and artist Halina Rosa.

The gala perfectly reflected how art, passion, and philanthropy can unite to create meaningful impact — where beauty becomes a powerful instrument of change.

The evening was filled with unforgettable performances by world-class artists. The audience was deeply moved by Therese Neaimé, an acclaimed Swedish-Lebanese singer and composer, whose repertoire combined soulful emotion with inspiring energy. Her performance — a blend of lyrical beauty and heartfelt passion — resonated deeply with every guest in the room.

The stage also welcomed opera artists from The Royal Swedish Opera, including tenor Jack and other distinguished soloists, whose powerful voices transformed the Grand Hôtel into a concert hall filled with majesty and grace. Their performances reminded everyone that music — like kindness — is a universal language that transcends boundaries.
Heartfelt gratitude was extended to all donors, sponsors, and artists whose generosity made this extraordinary evening possible. Among the key partners were:
Qatar Airways, Maruschka de Margot Fashion House, Halina Rosa Design, Sarah Poul Couture, Select Haute Couture Horizons, Ebba Brahe Jewellery, Bank Hotel, Riedel – The Wine Glass Company, Hatt et Söner Champagne House, Nattiluxe, Artportable, Galleri Duerr, GKM Gallery, Vesnaw, Svenskt Tenn, Sally Herriot Art, Walléns Design Jewellery, Catharina Elsner, Catrine Nässmark, and Ulrika Melin Art.
Their commitment turned this gala into more than an artistic event — it became a symbol of social responsibility, empathy, and the unity of the creative and humanitarian worlds.
Evenings like this remind us that beauty and goodness can coexist harmoniously. Grandeur need not be vanity — when guided by heart and purpose, it becomes a bridge between abundance and need.
In a world often rushing past compassion, such events reaffirm that empathy and generosity are the truest forms of luxury. Every gesture, every bid, every contribution holds the power to change lives.
As one guest beautifully remarked:
“Charity galas should be organized more often — not for the glamour, but because they build bridges between the world of opportunity and the world of need.”
Indeed, on that unforgettable evening at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm, art, kindness, and elegance merged into one — creating a lasting symphony of hope and humanity that will echo long after the final applause.
