Roses in the Desert – Women Artists at Princess Nourah University

In November 2025, Riyadh will become a stage where art, innovation, and women’s empowerment meet. Under the patronage of HRH Princess Noura Bint Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Creative Women Forum 2025 will gather leading voices from business, technology, culture, and the arts

This is more than a forum of ideas. It is a symbolic step toward realizing Saudi Vision 2030—a program that places women at the center of social, economic, and cultural transformation. Saudi Arabia is opening its cultural spaces to the world, inviting creators from over 50 countries to engage in a dialogue where tradition meets modernity and sustainability.

One of the Forum’s highlights will be the prestigious art exhibition at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University—the largest women’s university in the world. Here, in the heart of the desert, works by international female artists will be displayed, encompassing painting, sculpture, and fashion as forms of artistic expression.

Among the exhibitors is Halina Rosa, an artist and designer known as the Rose of Podhale. Her linen kimono-abayas, hand-painted with roses, will bring a unique touch to the exhibition. Linen, an ancient and natural fabric, meets the rose, a universal symbol of beauty, strength, and cultural dialogue. These creations are more than garments; they are stories of femininity, heritage, and harmony.

The Creative Women Forum is not just about showcasing art—it is about amplifying the voices of female innovators: scientists, entrepreneurs, leaders, and artists. Its guiding motto—Empower, Engage, Sustain—captures the spirit of a new era of women’s leadership and creativity.

When the lights of Riyadh shine on the Forum and the halls of Princess Nourah University fill with art, the world will see that culture is the most powerful language of dialogue. And the roses painted by Halina Rosa will bloom as part of this global alphabet of beauty and hope.
