
The seventh edition of the Murcia Mediterranean catwalk was held with fashion activities on Saturday 18 and Sunday, May 19 in Pavilion 2 of the Cuartel Artilleria; A lot of the public attended these two days where fashion and trends were protagonists.

Pavilion 2 of the Cuartel Artilleria became an epicenter of fashion in the region with Murcia Mediterranean Catwalk, congregating professionals from the sector, followers, and curious, to enjoy live the live fashion show. Nine fashion parades, a Pop-Up Store (space for exposure and sale of artisan and creative products), demonstrations of artisan creations, and workshops, to host more than thirty Murcian designers who showed the public their talent, making known in this relevant showcase.





From the morning of Saturday 18, the Cuartel Artilleria opened to the public welcoming with a photocall at the access door of Pavilion 2, and an Electric MG4 car of the Official Car of the catwalk, MG Huertas Auto, which was serigraphy to the occasion, and appeared in an orange tone also consistent with the Pantone of the postería of the seventh Murcia Mediterranean Catwalk. Well, every detail is taken into account, and the modernity of the MG4 Electric and its performance, a compact and sports model, with advanced technological characteristics, stands out among the crowd and is a trend next to the catwalk. Upon entering, the second floor was located the Pop-Up Store with an exhibition of artisans from the Region of Murcia and participation de Adolfo Ruiz, Almaleon, Baging, Charo Romero Atelier, Cris Cober Design, El Arte de Hacer Nudos, Isabel Puig, Juana Nicolás, Knae Jewellery, Lola Salas, Pajaritas con Jota y Tricchi; stands de venta por los creativos Antorcha de Plata, Filigrana, La Loca Cía, Madahland, Nenzojewelry, PMK Artesanías, Radio Vintage y Yoa Jewels; and a Estrella Levante Bar where attendees were able to cool off for free.

In the morning, in addition, two demonstrations of the live creation of designs by the artisans of the Region of Murcia were offered: Mercy Jimenez of the “El Arte de Hacer Nudos”, which offered a demonstration of macramé, and Lola Salas de Liebe, a demonstration of leather goods.


At 5:30 p.m. the first parades started, dedicated to showing the first collections of six Murcian emerging designers in the ‘Murcian Emerging Catwalk‘, which are starting their professional careers in the sector: Esther Teban, Bymacaro, Andreslatarcel, Patricia Leal, Bella Tara, and Binome; At 7 pm the ‘Craft Catwalk in the Region of Murcia’ followed, with the presentation on the catwalk of garments and accessories of the artisans of the region: Adolfo Ruiz, Almaleon, Antorcha de Plata, Baging, Carmen Navarro, Charo Romero Atelier, Cris Cober Design, El Arte de Hacer Nudos, El Costurerico por Proyecto Abraham, Gloriaca, Isabel Puig, Juán Guillén, Juana Nicolás, Cnae Jewellery, Lola Salas de Liebe, Pajaritas con Jota, Raquel Samper, Retalicos, Rosana González y Tricchi.



The professional school of makeup and hairdressing Susana Caravaca, the official team of the catwalk, was in charge of this work for the staging, showing great skill and talent. And finally, at 8:30 p.m. the day closed the designer Elena Koshurnikova and the H2O parade “The New Concept”, in which a whole creative work of hairdressing and makeup designed by Trendy Peluqueros, Andrew Sánchez, and José Méndez.

The fashion parades were complete throughout the afternoon, with a delivered audience that enjoyed each of the presentations, during the breaks, we walked through the pop-up Store, and photographs of street style were taken through the spectacular building of the Cuartel Artilleria. It is an industrial, modern, and avant-garde space that invites visitors to photograph themselves in any of its multiple corners to create original snapshots with a lot of style.








On Sunday, the Cuartel Artilleria continued with its action agenda, from 11.45 hours, reopening the pop-up store and sharing with the public two free registration workshops: workshop “Leather craft” by Lola Salas de Liebe, With MG Huertas Auto as the protagonist, where attendees created an original leather keychain with personalized touch; and a “Trends & Crafts” craft and fashion workshop guided by the creative and artisanists Mercy of ” El Arte de Hacer Nudos” and Nuria by Manteka Estudio, where the participants designed a “choker” type necklace for the summer.
Murcia Mediterranean Catwalk encourages the fashion culture in the Region of Murcia, promoting the sector and creating a network of professional relationships that involve value for the community.






Murcia Mediterranean Catwalk 2024 is organized by the Lalumier Eventos & Communication agency, with the sponsorship of the City of Murcia, the Department of Culture, and the Cuartel Artilleria; the main collaboration of the Community of the Region of Murcia, Crafts in the Region of Murcia, the City Council of Cartagena, the City of San Javier and the Manga Consortium. It also has MG Huertas Auto as an official automobile firm of the fashion days of the Region of Murcia (Official Car); And with the collaboration of Silvia Navarro, the school of makeup and hairdressing Susana Caravaca, the Higher School of Design of the Region of Murcia, Estrella de Levante, the Hotel Murcia Rincón de Pepe affiliated by Meliá, and the floristería Bésame Mucho.
