From Mrs. Congeniality at Mrs. India Inc. 2024 to the International Jury of Queen of the Baltic International 2026 — Sujata Banerjee’s Journey Across India, the Nordics and the Baltics

Sweden-based Indian Digital Product Leader, content creator and pageant personality Sujata Banerjee, known online as @thestockholmblogger, has marked another milestone in her journey by serving on the international jury of Queen of the Baltic International 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia.

The role marks a significant transition in Banerjee’s pageantry journey — from standing on stage as a contestant to taking a seat at the judges’ table on an international platform.

In 2024, Banerjee participated in Mrs. India Inc., where she was awarded the title of Mrs. Congeniality 2024. Two years later, she found herself on the other side of the stage at Queen of the Baltic International, bringing her own experience as a former contestant to the international judging panel.

“Going from contestant to judge has been a full-circle experience,” Banerjee said. “Having stood on that stage myself, I understand the preparation and courage behind it. For me, judging goes beyond appearance — it is about confidence, individuality, presence and the story each woman represents.”

Queen of the Baltic International is an international beauty and self-expression platform based in Tallinn, created to bring together women from different countries, cultures and generations. Moving beyond the traditional idea of a beauty competition, the project places emphasis on individuality, confidence, character, talent, leadership and social impact, while also incorporating cultural exchange and charitable initiatives.

At the heart of the project is its founder, Ksenia Petrova, an entrepreneur and initiator of cultural and social initiatives who has herself experienced the international pageant world while representing Estonia on the global stage.

The collaboration reflects a broader spirit of inclusion, diversity and cross-cultural exchange. By bringing together people of different nationalities, cultures and professional backgrounds, Queen of the Baltic International provides a platform where diverse perspectives and individual stories can be represented and celebrated.

Banerjee’s participation as an Indian professional based in Sweden adds another dimension to this international exchange, connecting India, the Nordic region and the Baltics.

Ahead of the pageant, Banerjee met H.E. Mr. Ashish Kumar Sinha, Ambassador of India to Estonia, in Tallinn, where she sought his best wishes ahead of her role on the international jury. The meeting underscored Banerjee’s connection to her Indian roots while marking another moment in her growing engagement across the Nordic and Baltic region.

For Banerjee, joining the jury of a platform centred on individuality and self-expression was particularly meaningful, allowing her to bring together her own journey in pageantry with her experience in leadership, digital media and cross-cultural storytelling.

Born into a Bengali family and raised in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Banerjee’s Indian roots remain an integral part of a journey that has since taken her across borders. After completing her schooling in Dhanbad, she pursued a BTech and MBA before building an international career in technology and digital product leadership.

Today, Banerjee works as a Digital Product Leader at IKEA in Sweden and remains active within the Swedish tech community.

Alongside her professional career, she has built a strong digital presence as @thestockholmblogger, where her Indian heritage meets contemporary Scandinavian life. Her content spans lifestyle, fashion, beauty, travel, technology and culture, offering a cross-cultural perspective shaped by her roots in India and her life in Sweden.

Her role at Queen of the Baltic International 2026 adds a new Baltic chapter to a journey already rooted in Sweden and the Nordic region. It also reflects the possibilities that emerge when different cultures, communities and perspectives come together through meaningful international collaboration.

From Dhanbad to Stockholm and Tallinn, and from Mrs. Congeniality at Mrs. India Inc. 2024 to an international pageant jury in 2026, Sujata Banerjee’s journey now connects India, the Nordics and the Baltics.

As her journey continues across Northern Europe, her Indian identity remains more than simply where her story began — it is a defining thread running through it.
