Collector’s Description

NOCTURNE ROSE is the second unique kimono abaya from the DESERT ROSE Collection by Halina Rosa Design / Royal Rosa Couture.

Created as an original work of wearable art in the spirit of sustainable fashion, NOCTURNE ROSE combines contemporary design, craftsmanship, cultural heritage and artistic storytelling.

Crafted from high-quality dark navy linen, the kimono abaya features three hand-painted metallic blue roses by artist Halina Rosa, complemented by royal crown motifs and elegant golden details.

The deep nocturnal navy of the linen and the metallic blue reflections of the hand-painted roses inspired the name NOCTURNE ROSE.

The crown motifs introduce an additional visual language of dignity, heritage and timeless elegance, while the rose — Halina Rosa’s signature artistic motif — represents beauty, identity, memory and connection across cultures.

Every painted element has been individually created by hand, making NOCTURNE ROSE an original collector’s piece within the DESERT ROSE Collection.

Hand-Painting & Artistic Details

The three metallic blue roses were hand-painted directly onto the textile by Halina Rosa.

Each brushstroke forms part of the individual character of the artwork. Natural variations in the painting are intentional and confirm its handcrafted nature.

The design is completed by a stand-up collar, back opening and three gold buttons at the back, together with recurring crown motifs.

Charity Purpose & Provenance

On 2 September 2026, NOCTURNE ROSE was included in the auction programme during a Fundraising Evening for the Benefit of the World Childhood Foundation, founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden.

The event was organized by the International Philanthropic Society (IPS) and held at the Residence of the Ambassador of Spain in Stockholm, Sweden.

NOCTURNE ROSE was contributed by Halina Rosa in support of the charitable fundraising initiative benefiting the World Childhood Foundation.

Its participation in this special philanthropic event at the Spanish diplomatic residence forms an important part of the documented provenance and history of the artwork.

Care Instructions

NOCTURNE ROSE is both a wearable garment and an original hand-painted textile artwork. It should therefore be handled with particular care.

Wash gently at a temperature below 30°C
Use only a small amount of mild detergent
Do not use bleach or aggressive detergents
Avoid prolonged soaking
Avoid strong spinning or wringing
Air-dry naturally
Protect from prolonged direct sunlight and UV exposure
Always iron from the reverse/inside of the fabric
Never place a hot iron directly on the hand-painted roses or other painted motifs
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place

Careful maintenance will help preserve the metallic character of the hand-painted blue roses and the original appearance of the artwork.
