» As a basket maker, my approach is made up of encounters, exchanges, transmission, and sharing… Basket weaving is a living heritage that is transmitted just as we do a language. Greed for learning, thirst for understanding; Basketry quickly became essential for me, Then came the mastery of basketry points which is acquired with rigor… My meeting with the National School of Osiericulture and Basketry of Fayl-billot will follow. (one of the three existing schools in Europe with those of Germany and Poland). Working with wicker when it becomes flexible… But letting yourself be guided by it too… It’s starting a dialogue with plants, pushing back our certainties, letting go. My basketry is made of wicker, dry inflorescences because in nature “Everything is Matter”. » Artisan vannière ma démarche est faite de rencontres, d’échange, de transmission et de partage… LA vannerie est un patrimoine vivant qui se transmet tout comme nous le faisons d’une langue. Gourmandise d’apprendre, soif de comprendre ; La vannerie est rapidement devenue pour moi un essentiel, Ensuite est venue la maîtrise des points de vannerie qui s’acquière avec la rigueur…S’en suivra ma rencontre avec l’école Nationale d’Osiériculture et de Vannerie de Fayl-billot ( l’une des trois écoles existantes en Europe avec celles d’Allemagne et de Pologne ). Travailler avec l’osier lorsqu’il se fait souple… Mais se laisser guider par lui aussi … C’est entamer le dialogue avec le végétal , repousser nos certitudes , lâcher prise. Ma vannerie est composée d’osier, d’inflorescences sèches car dans la nature « Tout est Matière » . Matière à tisser , matière à tresser… Un étrange langage s’est installé entre mes mains et l’osier… Né de l’eau, de la terre et des bois… Essayer de créer le mouvement …toujours . Garder la fluidité de l’eau qui circule dans le brin d’osier c’est le garder « En Vie »,
